This tour was created to get the most of an experience in a short span of time. Doing it all - air tour, bus rim tour, sunrise and sunset tour, helicopter flight and hike in and out of the canyon. Yes, this EXTREME tour is for those who want to see the Grand Canyon from top to bottom with a variety of transportation styles. Your first morning will begin by a fantastic air tour from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Your view along the way will include Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Colorado River, Grand Canyon and Kaibab National Forest. Upon your arrival at the Grand Canyon Airport you take a shuttle to your lodge. You will have some free time to explore on your own at the Grand Canyon Village and have lunch before embarking on a Grand Canyon Rim tour. Upon your return, check into your lodge prior to the Sunset Tour. (During the winter months the Sunset tour may be combined with your rim tour.) Day 2 begins with a Sunrise Tour. You wouldn't want to miss nature's colors displaying its splendor with this tour. (It is recommended that you request the lodge to pack you a bag lunch.) Afterward you will be picked up by a shuttle for your Havasupai Day trip. Your helicopter will take you to the Havasupai Reservation at which time you may take a self guided hike into the Grand Canyon to Havasu Falls and the beautiful emerald pools. Your day trip is approximately 6 hours with return to your Grand Canyon Lodge at approximately 3:00 PM. This will give you time to see the IMAX movie in the nearby town of Tusayan or just enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Grand Canyon with a walk along the rim. Day 3 you will return by airplane to Las Vegas at approximately 10:30 AM. A shuttle will take you to your Las Vegas hotel or the McCarran International Airport. What a tour! What a memory! Yes, this is the extreme tour!
